promoted to DIG Manmohan Kumar, Satbir Singh, and Daljit Singh from AIG. They have now been given the responsibility of big jails. Their job will be to improve the system inside. The government has deployed all officers in different jails thoughtfully. Each officer has been given a specific responsibility. Their job will be to keep an eye on the situation and strictly enforce the rules. The government believes that change in jails is possible only when there are good officers there. This plan is a part of that thinking.

6. Ban on illegal activities

There were frequent reports of mobiles, drugs, and gangs in jails. The government now wants to put a complete stop to this.
